Camp Program Information

Registration closes in the office at 4:00 pm the Wednesday before the program begins, provided that spaces are still available. Online registration closes at 11:50 pm the Wednesday before the program begins, provided that spaces are still available.

Participants are only registered for weeks that are paid for.

Camp Farm Hill, Camp Moody, Camp Snow, Camp Crystal & Camp Late Summer Fun
doors will open at 7:00 am.

Camp runs from 9:00 – 3:30, daily.
After care 3:30-5:30 pm with an additional fee.
No camp on July 4th.

Bus Information ~ Camp Crystal and Camp Snow 
Buses depart Palmer Field at 7:50 am & depart from each site at 3:00 pm.
Bussing additions and changes MUST be made the WEDNESDAY before the enrolled week of camp starts.

All changes must be done via email at rec@middletownct.gov.

All cancellations or changes (bussing or camp) must be emailed to rec@middletownct.gov by the Wednesday prior to the start of the program.
Please email rec@middletownct.gov with the child’s name and program.
NO refunds will be given if this process is not followed.
There is a $25 processing fee for refunds. For department policies, please read our participant handbook ONLINE.

NOTICES: Camp Schedules and Bus Routes are our city website in the beginning of June and here on our MyRec page.

City of Middletown has liability insurance but does not carry accident insurance. Personal health and accident insurance is recommended. All parents/guardians must sign our Medical Release/Parental Permission form.

Late Fee: If participants are picked up late, there is a $10 charge for every 10 minutes.
The charge will be posted to your account and you will need to pay before you can register for another program. If participants are picked up late more than twice, they may be dismissed from camp.

Camp Schedules & Bus Routes will be emailed prior to the start of the summer camp. They are also available for pickup in hard copy from our office and our city website in the beginning of June.

We accept: Cash, check, money orders, and debit/credit cards (MasterCard/Visa).

Financial Aid: Camp fees may be waived if you are eligible for Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF). Please know that we have some scholarship opportunities and we participate in the Care4Kids program as a provider. If cost is a factor, PLEASE reach out to us. We will do our very best to work with you. We can’t wait to see you and your family this upcoming summer.
