Join Middletown Recycling Coordinator, Kim O’Rourke, for a lively discussion about food and yard waste recycling and backyard composting.
Learn about different ways to divert organic waste and why it is important, different ways to compost, how to set up a system with minimal effort, and the many benefits of compost!

Kim O’Rourke has been composting for over 30 years and is a student with the UConn Master Composter program. All are welcome to join this virtual presentation and discussion to learn more about what’s happening in Middletown and state wide, and simple steps you can take to successfully recycle organic waste.

Middletown Recreation supports our community in many ways.
We are asking if you could bring one non-perishable food item to donate with Middletown Recreation to the Amazing Grace Food Pantry.

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
