Ballet/JazzIn this combination Ballet & Jazz class we will learn introductory ballet & jazz steps.  These include plies, tendu, releve, arabesque, and the five ballet positions.  We will use fun, upbeat music to learn basic skills like hopping, skipping, jumping, galloping.  Attire:  Comfortable clothing that allows for movement, along with ballet shoes or socks with grips on the bottom.Circle Time in the ParkThis Child & Me creative movement class helps children develop gross motor skills, balance and listening skills.  We will have a weekly theme with story time, simple craft along with singing and dancing incorporating props such as bean bags, ribbons & Lummi sticks! Fall sweep rowing is open to advanced beginner through experienced (15 - 99). You must have completed the novice rowing program or a comparable class. This program offers the ability for all levels to improve and build on their present rowing skills and fitness. Fall offers the opportunity for more experienced rowers (ages 21+) to race in up to 3 regattas** if interested. Competitive rowers must expect to come to a minimum of 2/3 practices per week. The head coach can help determine if you are at a level to race. As it gets darker earlier in the fall, we will come off the water at dusk and then do a variety of fitness, stretching and yoga, all key to aspects to being a strong rower. Please bring a yoga mat and sneakers to every practice and a reusable water bottle.CCR rows in Fours and Eights. CCR adheres to covid-safe practices. Learn about Munch and create your own. Suitable for older kids and adults who want to do something with their families.    November 13Natasha Bouchillon Trees. Young artist Natasha Wescoat (now Bouchillon) made a name for herself making trees from all seasons.  She loves to use swirls to create leaves and branches. Make your own to celebrate the season.December 11Northern Lights inspired doodle. This one is super challenging but also rewarding!  Get into the spirit of the season by creating the Northern Lights AKA The Northern Borealis. Here we will help you blend, layer, and generally use color to create the complexity of a Northern Lights landscape.  January 8 Romero Britto.  Fun, Love & Hope For the New year!  Pick a word that represents your wishes for the new year and incorporate it into a pop art creation, either by creating art from the word or by creating a picture that represents it. February 12Show your Love for someone by making these peacocks of love, inspired by John Nolan.  We have a pop art explosion of color.  Make one with the one you love for a fun date night or learn to have fun with color on your own or with friends. March 12Enjoy this really intense, harder than average dot landscape inspired by Australian artist Elspeth McLean. 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM    Rowing/Crew On-Water Classes - Fall Experienced Rowing
Fall sweep rowing is open to advanced beginner through experienced (15 - 99). You must have completed the novice rowing program or a comparable class. This program offers the ability for all levels to improve and build on their present rowing skills and fitness. Fall offers the opportunity for more experienced rowers (ages 21+) to race in up to 3 regattas** if interested. Competitive rowers must expect to come to a minimum of 2/3 practices per week. The head coach can help determine if you are at a level to race. As it gets darker earlier in the fall, we will come off the water at dusk and then do a variety of fitness, stretching and yoga, all key to aspects to being a strong rower. Please bring a yoga mat and sneakers to every practice and a reusable water bottle.CCR rows in Fours and Eights. CCR adheres to covid-safe practices. If you are not vaccinated you will need to wear a mask. * All on-water rowers must have or had a swim test waiver filled out this year to participate. **Experienced rowers interested in racing will incur additional fees for regattas.?PLEASE NOTE: occasional Sat. races may require rescheduling of practices because of conflict!                 *Swim Waiver Form Required. Ballet/JazzIn this combination Ballet & Jazz class we will learn introductory ballet & jazz steps.  These include plies, tendu, releve, arabesque, and the five ballet positions.  We will use fun, upbeat music to learn basic skills like hopping, skipping, jumping, galloping.  Attire:  Comfortable clothing that allows for movement, along with ballet shoes or socks with grips on the bottom.Circle Time in the ParkThis Child & Me creative movement class helps children develop gross motor skills, balance and listening skills.  We will have a weekly theme with story time, simple craft along with singing and dancing incorporating props such as bean bags, ribbons & Lummi sticks! Cardio Dance ExerciseJoin the dance party!  This high energy class for boys and girls will get them moving with easy-to-follow moves combining fast and slow rhythms!  Many different types of dance & exercise will be incorporated into the class including the use of props. Attire:  Comfortable clothing that allows for movement, along with sneakers or socks with grips on the bottom.Pre-Ballet / Creative MovementThis class is for young dancer who wants to express their independence without the assistance of an adult.  This class helps children develop gross motor skills, balance and listening skills.  We will sing and dance incorporating props such as bean bags, ribbons, hoops, Lummi sticks and more!  Basic ballet steps will be introduced.  Attire: Comfortable clothing that allows for movement, along with ballet shoes or socks with grips on the bottom.Stroller FitnessWorkout comprised of power walking, strength training, core restoration.  Great workout for all fitness levels.    Along with songs and activities to entertain little ones.  All are welcome even if you don’t have a child in stroller!Contact: 860-770-3999    dancewithmissalicia@gmail.com
